Northern revetment project for Fujian Fuqing nuclear plant
The total length of the north dike is 1921m. It is a slope-type riprap breakwater. The foundation is formed by underwater silt squeezing by blasting. The bottom width is 60m, the upper width is 7m, and the construction water depth is 7m. The top is cast-in-place anti-wave breast wall, and the inner and outer surface protection is artificial armour blocks (2t and 3t accropode blocks). The core stones of the project is total 2.2 million m3; 1.47 million m3 of silt squeezing by blasting; a total of 67,000 m3 of C40 concrete. The project is from August 30th, 2008 to March 11th, 2011.
